What inspires you?

Probably a number of things, what if you had to choose one thing and say in no more than 100 words what it would be? This was the idea that @mediasnackers had! In his words

‘My little personal project  asking 100 people, from 1-to-100 years old, what single thing inspires them and why in 100 words’.

I first saw this via twitter – where DK was asking for people to join in with his project.  I loved the idea and immediatley signed myself and my two children up! Even better to get the e mail to say that we had been selected -  it was great to talk to them about what inspired them – they are 4 and 8 – and came up with some great ideas, my 8 year old had no problem at all the only problem was keeping it to 100 words, my 4 yr old knew who inspired him straight away and then with his big sisters help he put the words in.

DK presented his book – so far at TEDx Cardiff and we all watched his talk with one of the slides featuring my 4 yr old – who was over the moon when he saw himself on the big screen, it was also interesting to see what they thought of the other ideas too. The book is not quite finished yet and DK is still looking for ages so if you  fit one of the missing ages why not get in touch.

I have enjoyed reading the book and finding inspiration in the comments from others, it is also an idea that I will be using with my class as well.  I found it good to sit down, think and find my inspiration – which was? Well for that you have to look in the book! So what inspires you?
